CM200 PF FAST CURE is a high-performance, cold-applied, two-component joint sealant designed for demanding industrial and forecourt environments. It’s widely used for sealing expansion joints in concrete paved areas such as docks, container depots, factories and warehousing, and is highly adherent to common materials used in fuel garage forecourt construction.
In our workshop and tanker applications, CM200 PF Fast Cure is commonly used for sealing manhole covers to skirts where a durable, chemically resistant seal is required.
Key advantages:
- High performance: Good movement accommodation and tolerant of severe climatic conditions.
- Chemically resistant: Resistant to spillages of fuels, hydraulic fluids, synthetic and mineral oils, and dilute acids and alkalis.
- Easy to use: Hand pour or machine apply to suit joint size.
- Non-toxic: Contains no pitch or related ingredients.
- Reliable: Quality assured manufacturer (ISO 9002 stated).
Standards / typical performance (20°C):
- Complies with BS 5212:1990 Type N
- Complies with ISO 11600-F-25LM
- Movement accommodation: ±25%
- Shore hardness: 17 (Shore A2)
Cure times (at 25°C):
- Pot life: 20 to 30 minutes
- Tack free: approx. 3 hours
- Traffic bearing: typically within 36 hours
- Final cure: within 2 days
- Do not apply below: 4°C
Application overview (summary):
- Ensure joints are dry and free from dust, grease, contaminants and previous sealants.
- Use suitable preparation methods (e.g. grit blasting, grinding, sawing or water jetting) to achieve a clean bonding surface.
- Fit a bond breaker / back-up foam to form the correct joint cross-section and prevent bonding to the joint base.
- Priming: Prime joint faces with the correct primer system for the substrate (primer selection is critical for best performance).
- Mixing: Stir Pack B, add entire contents to Pack A, and mix for 5 minutes (slow speed drill max 500 rpm) until homogeneous; avoid entraining air.
- Pour or gun apply immediately into the primed joint.
Packaging: Supplied in 4.5 litre, two-component packs.
Storage: Store cool and dry, away from frost, moisture and direct sunlight. Shelf life: 18 months in original unopened containers (when stored as recommended).
Safety note: Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and SDS. Ensure suitable PPE and ventilation. Chemical compatibility should be confirmed for your specific application and site conditions.
