SGB VLXE Vacuum Leak Detector

The VLXE series is designed for monitoring pressureless double-walled pipes, including filling and suction lines at petrol filling stations. Its pneumatic system is explosion-proof for safe operation in hazardous environments.

• VLXE 330 M – for double-walled suction lines
• VLXE 500 M – for double-walled gravity tank fill and suction lines at filling stations

Optional Equipment

• Si – Service Indicator: adjustable reminder interval (1 to 63 months)

Suitable Pipe Types

For use with double-walled, pressure-resistant pipe systems and fittings made of metal or plastic, whether factory-assembled or constructed on site.

Compatible Media

• Petrol and petrol-ethanol blends
• Diesel fuel
• Kerosene
• Other fuels and liquids with vapours heavier than air

Note: When monitoring liquids with a flash point requiring explosion protection, VLXE..M models may only be used on pressureless pipelines.
According to international hazardous materials regulations, this typically means liquids with a flash point above 60 °C (Germany: above 55 °C).
