VLXE-SAB - Underpressure (vacuum) Monitoring of Tanks and Pipework

SGB VLXE-SAB Vacuum Leak Detector (Outdoor Multi-Channel)

The VLXE-SAB is a vacuum leak detection system designed to monitor up to 16 double-walled tanks and/or pipework interstitial spaces. It is supplied in a free-standing enclosure specifically intended for outdoor installation.

A key advantage of the VLXE-SAB is that it can be installed close to the tank farm, which helps to reduce the amount of ducting and pneumatic tubing required and avoids the need to route air lines back to the shop/kiosk — simplifying installation and helping to improve site safety.

Standard Features

  • Green operating status lamp
  • Red alarm lamp
  • Audible alarm sounder
  • Main acknowledge button on the front panel
  • Per-channel indication and controls inside the housing for each interstitial space: operation, alarm, pressure, and pump run, with acknowledge buttons for each channel

Available Types

  • VLXE-SAB T34 – for tanks with a suction line to the low point of the interstitial space
  • VLXE-SAB T330 – for tanks with up to 3.0 m diameter
  • VLXE-SAB P410 – for fill and vapour recovery lines
  • VLXE-SAB P500 – for suction lines
