VEGASYS is a packaged tank-gauging system that combines a VEGAMET display and controller with a radar or submerged pressure level sensor.
Choose a package for one or two tanks, then specify the sensor, display and functions your fuel system needs. The range supports clear local level indication, colour changing displays (based on levels/relays), configurable relay control and connections to other control equipment.

Both package types provide a local tank reading through a VEGAMET controller. The sensor choice depends on the tank, the liquid, the measurement you need and the available mounting connection.
A radar sensor measures the distance to the liquid surface without sitting in the fuel. Its level measurement does not rely on the liquid's density, making radar particularly useful where fuel characteristics can change or measurement accuracy is a priority.
Choose between the available radar sensor versions according to the required measuring range, accuracy and hazardous-area requirements.
A submerged sensor measures liquid pressure and converts it into a level reading. It offers a practical, lower-cost route for straightforward tank gauging, provided the sensor pressure range is selected for the tank height and liquid density.
These packages include the relevant sensor mounting and vented wiring components listed for each package.
Packages are available for single or double tanks. Check the individual package listing for its exact sensor, controller, components and available configurations.
The controller and sensor are grouped into a defined package, making it easier to identify the principal gauging components together. Radar packages use a tank-top sensor connection; submerged-sensor packages include the listed tank mounting and vented junction components.
Compatible VEGAMET controllers and VEGA radar sensors can be configured through VEGA's Bluetooth tools. Guided setup helps the installer set the tank measurement, display and required switching functions.
Controller simulation functions can help check configured switching points and display behaviour during commissioning. Saved settings can be documented for the customer's operation and maintenance records.
Confirm the installation details and hazardous-area classification before selecting equipment. The console location, sensor and field wiring must suit the proposed arrangement.
The VEGAMET display can be configured to present useful tank information such as level, percentage full or calculated volume. Its screen colour can provide an immediate visual indication of normal or alarm conditions.
VEGAMET relays can do more than signal a high or low level. They can be configured with separate switching points to control a tank-filling cycle: for example, start a fill request when the level falls to a set point, then reset it when the tank reaches a higher set point.
Relays can also be assigned to level alarms and other pump, valve or external control functions. The switching points and logic should be set for the particular fuel-system design.
Depending on the chosen controller and configuration, an analogue output can pass a tank-level signal to a BMS, PLC or other monitoring device. Tell us what signal and information the receiving system needs.
Need to show ullage? Select a package configured for remaining tank capacity. This arrangement uses a suitable two-input VEGAMET controller configured to show both the measured contents and the space remaining, using the same sensor signal.
Typical uses include generator bulk and day tanks, commercial and fleet refuelling sites, marinas, and other industrial fuel-storage installations.
